Mixed Media Butterfly Drawing | January 30 | 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM PST

Butterflies are one of the most beautiful and inspirational creatures of our planet and are super fun to draw in a wide variety of art media! In this class, you will draw the ornithoptera priamus, or commonly known as the green birdwing butterfly. You will use graphite to draw an initial sketch of one side of the butterfly and will learn how to draw the second wings using a simple transfer technique. Then, you'll learn techniques to experiment with layering, blending, and adding final details using markers, ink and colored pencil to bring your butterfly to life.

When: 11:00am-1:00 pm PST on January 30, 2021.

Where: Zoom Meeting. You will receive login instructions a few days before the workshop.
