Love houseplants? Want to learn how to paint them? In this workshop, we will learn the basics of painting houseplants using watercolor. In this workshop, we will go over watercolor basics, such as loading the brush and color mixing. All supplies are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own! If you have a favorite plant of yours that you want to bring, feel free to bring it! Open to all ages and levels of experience.

About the Teacher
Paulina Hoong is the artist behind Menmin Made, which brings forward expressive watercolor plants + florals + food + AAPI-inspired art into this world. She’s a queer, second-gen Chinese-American artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She draws inspiration from Chinese symbolism, the diasporic Midwestern Asian-American experience, being a restaurant kid, and the natural world. Her work has been featured in Buzzfeed, the Asian American Women’s Artists Association, and the Weisman Art Museum.
