Learn the fundamentals of watercolor while painting a bouquet of California wildflowers! We will learn to paint an assortment of florals and greenery that you will be able to use to make cards and paintings! In this workshop, we will go over watercolor basics, such as loading the brush and color mixing. This is an all levels class. All supplies are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own!

About the Teacher

Paulina Hoong is the artist behind Menmin Made, which brings forward expressive watercolor plants + florals + food + AAPI-inspired art into this world. She’s a queer, second-gen Chinese-American artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She draws inspiration from Chinese symbolism, the diasporic Midwestern Asian-American experience, being a restaurant kid, and the natural world. Her work has been featured in Buzzfeed, the Asian American Women’s Artists Association, and the Weisman Art Museum.
