Botanical Printmaking (sliding scale available)

Saturday, June 24

1:00 - 3:00 PM

Learn how to use botanical elements to create vibrant prints on paper and fabric! Using flowers, leaves, fruits and vegetables, you will explore ink and traditional printmaking techniques to design greeting cards, a canvas tote, and a tea towel. In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to set intentions for the new year and capture them in an easy-to-frame 8x10 print. You are welcome to bring 1-2 small items (shirt, pillowcase, etc.) to print on during class. While botanical elements will be provided, we encourage you to bring your own additions–flowers, leaves, celery bulbs, peppers, apples, pears, onions, corn, mushrooms, etc. No prior experience required! The possibilities are endless!
