Botanical Printmaking (Sliding Scale)

Saturday, August 20, 10:00 AM -12:00 PM

Learn how to use botanical elements to create vibrant prints on paper and fabric! Using flowers, leaves, fruits and vegetables, you will explore ink and traditional printmaking techniques to design greeting cards, a canvas tote, and a tea towel. You are welcome to bring 1-2 small items (shirt, pillowcase, etc.) to print on during class. While botanical elements will be provided, we encourage you to bring your own additions–flowers, leaves, celery bulbs, peppers, apples, pears, onions, corn, mushrooms, etc. No prior experience required! The possibilities are endless!

This class is on a sliding-scale basis.  We estimate the cost per person to be $70 so if you are able to pay that, that would be appreciated, but please don't let your lack of ability to pay keep you away! Our goal is to be inclusive of all folks regardless of their current financial situation.

T ake home kits will be available for purchase the day of the class.
